How this website handles your data

This website collects what you send through the contact and registration forms (name, email, institution and message) and, for those with an account in the restricted area, name, email and institution. This data is used to reply to you and to control access to restricted content, in accordance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709/2018).

Those who register for a series of meetings stop provide their name, email, institution, whether they need a certificate of attendance and, optionally, position, city and phone. This data is used to manage registrations and seats, prepare the attendance list for the day, issue the certificate, send notices about the stop and later send the recording and materials of the meeting. Personal data is not sold or shared with sponsors. The record of consent is stored with the registration.

The IP address of anyone who submits a form or tries to sign in to the restricted area is recorded to prevent abuse and repeated access attempts. Attempt records are deleted within 24 hours.

Cookies

The website uses two necessary cookies, which do not require consent: the session cookie (wfb), which keeps you signed in to the restricted area and protects the forms, and the language cookie (wf_lang), which remembers whether you chose English or Spanish.

With your consent, the website also uses Google Analytics, from Google, to count visits in aggregate (pages viewed, where visits come from, type of device) and improve the content. It is only loaded after you click Accept on the cookie notice; anyone who declines receives no Google script. Your choice is stored for 180 days in the wf_consent cookie and can be changed at any time: review my cookie choice.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and YouTube videos use the cookie-free version (youtube-nocookie.com).
