Silver economy: the 60+ public moves R$ 2 trillion and gets a program at Sebrae Rio
Brazil has more than 33 million people aged 60 or over. In the state of Rio, senior entrepreneurs were 16% of business owners in October 2025, according to Sebrae-RJ, which runs a program dedicated to the silver economy.
Industry needs to train 14 million professionals by 2027; construction accounts for 1.4 million
CNI's Industrial Labor Map estimates that Brazilian industry needs to train or reskill 14 million people between 2025 and 2027. Construction is the second area in demand, and in the state of Rio alone the projection is 103,200 new professionals in the sector.
Record infrastructure investment accelerates BIM adoption in Brazil
